Why Do I Need To Sign Up For An Account?

          Selected Findings, Inc. is a global wholesale supplier to jewelry professionals, inlcuding retail jewelers, jewelry traders, jewelry wholesalers, and jewelry manufacturers. It is important that Selected Findings, Inc. avoid presenting wholesale pricing to retail consumers, or retail pricing to wholesale customers.

          Additionally, the Department of the Treasury and U.S. law mandate suppliers of precious metals, stones, or jewels to maintain complete contact information for all customers.

          As per our privacy policy, Selected Findings, Inc. believes deeply in protecting private information, so you can rest assured that this information will never be sold to any third party for any reason whatsoever.

 

Account Types


          Selected Findings, Inc. offers the following account types. 

 

Account 1: Wholesaler & Retailer Access (resale number required)

A Wholesaler or Retailer account qualifies an industry customer for full, unrestricted access to all Selected Findings wholesale products and services with wholesale pricing, including:

          • All Jewelry Findings, including Fabricated Metals, Shanks, Components and Beading Accessories

          • All Tools & Equipment, including all Batteries, Lasers and Restricted Hazardous Industrial products

          • All Packaging’s & Displays, including Access to Gift Orders, Watch Straps and Hot-Foil Stamping

          • All Wedding & Engagement Mountings, including all Finished and Semi-Finished Jewelry, Fashion Jewelry, Chains and Cords

          • All Gemstones and Diamonds

          • Eligibility to qualify for Selected Findings Credit Terms with Net 30 access and STIP

          • Deferral of Sales Tax On All Items Inteded For Resale

 

All Wholesaler or Retailer Access customers are required to submit a State Resale Certificate and completed Board of Equalization form BOE-230 (7-02) before final approval.

 

Account 2: General Access (full public access)

A General Access account is open to all eligible customers and qualifies an individual for access to a large portion of Selected Findings products and services, including:

          • Most Jewelry Findings, including Fabricated Metals, Shanks, Components and Beading Accessories

          • Most Tools & Equipment, including all Batteries, Lasers and Un-Restricted Hazardous Industrial products

          • Most Packaging’s & Displays, including most watch straps and Access to Hot-Foil Stamping

          • Most Wedding & Engagement Mountings, including most Finished and Semi-Finished Jewelry, Fashion Jewelry, Chains and Cords

 

All General Access customers are required to submit current billing and shipping Information

When Will My Order Ship?

Selected Findings offers the following shipping options for delivery within the United States:

United States Postal Service (USPS)

 

Priority Mail Service, typically arrives in 3 to 6 business days, excluding holidays. In rare instances, like during holidays this service can take up to 14 days to deliver.

 

Express Mail Service, arrives in 2 days in metro areas and 3 days to outlying areas, includes weekends and holidays. Delivery times may vary for orders placed during the weekend with this service.

 

Express Mail will always require a signature upon delivery. Priority Mail will only require a signature under some circumstances.

 

Federal Express (FedEx)

 

Federal Express, charges vary by parcel weight and delivery zone. Because of our high volume, they have allowed us to offer extremely good rates to our customers.

 

Overnight Priority Service, arrives within 2-3 business days, excluding holidays.

 

2-Day Service, arrives in 3-4 business days, excluding holidays.

 

3-Day Express Saver, arrives in 4-5 business days, excluding holidays. Not available to Alaska or Hawaii addresses.

New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Orders received on these holidays will be processed the following day.

Shipping Rates Based on Negotiated Carrier Rates

 

Our standard shipping rates are computed using the calculated weight of your order, rounded up to the nearest whole pound, and based on the heavily discounted rates negotiated by us for you, with FedEx and UPS. 

 

Selected Findings is not responsible for shipping delays due to causes beyond our control.

 

Note: Our large volume allows us to negotiate very favorable shipping rates with our carriers. These rates are lower than individual consumers pay at these carriers. To help you make the most of every dollar, we pass the savings directly on to you. Selected Findings does not believe in using shipping as a profit engine.

 

 

When Will My Order Ship? 

 

Same-Day Shipping on FedEx Orders If Placed by 3PM Pacific Standard Time (6PM Eastern Standard Time)

All FedEx Overnight, 2-Day and 3-Day express shipments will be shipped SAME BUSINESS DAY if received before 3PM Pacific Standard Time. Most other orders will leave Selected Findings the following business day by your requested ship method.

 

International/Canada

 

Canada

 

Orders shipped to Canadian addresses are shipped via Federal Express International, UPS International or Canadian Air Mail. Federal Express and UPS International take 2 to 3 business days to reach Customs. Canadian Airmail takes from 7 to 14 business days to reach Customs.

 

International

 

Orders shipped to addresses outside the U.S. and Canada may be placed online or by contacting a Customer Service Representative toll-free at (800) 322-7725. Federal Express and UPS International take approximately 3-5 business days to reach Customs. Foreign Airmail takes from 2 to 5 weeks, depending on location.

 

Please note that international orders cannot always be shipped same day. UPS and International Airmail may be specifically requested. Please contact Customer Service (by phone, fax, or email) to determine what other shipping methods may be available to your destination.

 

Please keep in mind that any Customs fees or taxes imposed by Customs for an order are separate from the shipping charges, and are not the responsibility of Selected Findings. Customs fees and taxes will vary, and we recommend that you contact your local Customs office should you have any questions or concerns about these fees. All packages shipped from Selected Findings will include a declaration indicating the contents as Craft Supplies with full value for the order listed. A package returned to us due to refusal of these charges will result in Selected Findings being charged for the shipping, return shipping and Customs fees, and future orders will not be accepted until these fees are reimbursed. We are unable to alter our declaration. We apologize for any inconvenience.

 

Saturday Delivery

 

If you cannot be available to receive your order on a weekday, we may be able to arrange for your order to be delivered on Saturday. FedEx Saturday Service, available in the vast majority of US cities, is subject to availability. If Saturday Service is unavailable in your area, we can arrange for you to pick up your package at the FedEx World Service Center nearest you. If you're interested in these services, call 800-322-7725 to speak to a Customer Service Representative.

 

Sales Tax

 

Currently, sales tax is only collected on orders shipped to addresses in California.

 

Returns

 

To help ensure you make the right choice, we offer a very flexible return policy (we believe the best in the industry). If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return any item in its original condition within 30 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange.           Browse the product categories or use the product search box to quickly find an item by its description. When you've found the item you are looking for, enter the desired quantity in the quantity box and click the "Add to cart” button to place the item your cart. When an item is successfully added to your cart from a shopping page, the button will change to Update.

          To change the quantity of any item, enter the new (total) quantity you would like to order and click on the "Update" button. To view additional information about a product, click on the item name or image. You will find a larger image and detailed product information.

 Policy on Debit Cards

 

          A debit card is treated differently than a credit card by your bank. A debit card is much like a credit card in that it may display a credit card company logo, like Visa or MasterCard, but a charge to your debit card uses funds directly from your bank account. The biggest difference is that your bank may institute a daily charge limit on your debit card. If the price of your order exceeds a daily limit set on your debit card we will notify you, as this will prohibit us from processing your order.

          As an alternative, you can: Continue your order via wire transfer and receive a 1.5% discount. A wire transfer is a simple process of contacting your bank to have funds moved from your bank to ours and is available for orders of $750 or more. It works on the same principle as your debit card, but requires some direct communication with your bank to allow for a larger transaction. We'll send you the easy instructions. It may require a few days for your bank to transfer your funds.

Continue your order using a credit card. If you order before 1PM your order will begin processing the same day.
 

Gift Card Policies

 

          For security purposes, when you redeem your gift card online, we may require that you use a credit card. This helps us ensure your identity, and protects against fraudulent use of your gift card. Your credit card will not be charged unless your order total exceeds the amount of your gift card. If you do not wish to use a credit card to redeem your gift card, call customer service at 800-322-7725.

          Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, cannot be returned for a cash refund, and are not transferable.

          Any unused portion will remain available for future purchases under the same gift card number.

          Selected Findings is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.

          Selected Findings gift cards are redeemable only at www.SelectedFindings.com. Card cash value is, 1/10 of one cent. Gift cards and unused portions expire on the date listed on your printed gift receipt, or the date listed in your gift card e-mail (does not apply to California or where prohibited by law).

 

Precious Metals Policy

 

          Precious metals markets, like stocks and foreign currency markets, fluctuate daily. This means prices for precious metals, findings and components fluctuate daily as well. Our posted precious metal prices reflect both metal content and artisan labor, however, price fluctuations apply only to metal content.

          The prices posted on the internet are based on the Kitco Metals price report and are updated twice daily.
